About Us

Billings, Montana, United States
The Professor and I were civilly married 24 May 1998 and sealed for time and all eternity 11 Sept 1999 in the Mt. Timpanogas Temple, American Fork, UT. We have, between us 6 biological children and 3 we claim as ours through the heart strings! We call Billings, Montana home and love it here. We camp, hunt, fish, ride horses and LOVE bull riding and rodeos. Our church is a huge part of our lives and our callings keep us very busy. We love our Saviour, Jesus Christ and strive to show that love to our fellow man every day. We got our nicknames because I am the "spark" that keeps things lively around here, and he was smart enough to marry me! That's the short story on it anyway!

THE FIRST CAMPING TRIP OF 2009!

The Professor and I took the new camper out for it's maiden voyage over Mother's Day weekend! It was WONDERFUL! We learned things to keep in mind for our next trip. It rained and we didn't care! It was cold, but we stayed warm...it got hot during the day, and we stayed cool! The dogs loved having their own bed, although Riley perferred laying on the floor next to our bed.

This was Riley's first camping adventure with us. He had a ball! The first thing he did, was to find a chunk of old deer hide and brought it back to us, so proud of himself! Then Dan found a turkey claw, and Riley was so excited about that! He stayed near our camp, and came right away when we called him. We saw a live porcupine in a field, and were grateful Riley was in the truck, cuz he got mighty excited when he saw that prickley thing! When there were cows on the road, Riley and Beau both went a bit bonkers barking at them as if telling them to get out of our way!
Because it was

so early in the season, there was only one other camper out there. He was a turkey hunter. In the true spirit of Fritz camping, we avoided campgrounds and found a nice spot on the side of the mountain. It was quiet, beautiful, secluded, serene and just what the Professor and I needed!
