MEGAN IS ENGAGED!!!

We couldn't be any happier! Our sweet Megan is FINALLY engaged to Victor! I am currently in Utah and we are going shopping for a wedding dress today.

This has been quite a journey for us all, and espeically for Megan. For a couple years, I was truly afraid this day would never come, just because of the choices Megan was making in her life. I should have had more faith in her to make the right choice in the end. She has such a good head on her shoulders, and I know she loves the Lord, so I shouldn't have worried so much, but as a mother, what can you do?!

She wants a very simple affair, with not a lot of trimmings. They would rather spend their money on a down payment on a house than on a lot of frills at a wedding...in other words, they would rather spend their money on the marriage, not the wedding. Of course Dan and I are paying for most of the wedding, but there are some things they are taking care of themselves, so that's where the cost cutting comes in.

I have asked a very good friend of ours, Mike Schaertl if he would be the photographer, and he has agreed, IF he's in town. He is a cameraman for TV shows and has a project in the works with NBC, so he may have to fly back in from LA to be able to do the shoot.

I really want good pictures of the wedding and the bride photos and such.

They have chosen July 31st as their wedding day, and they will be sealed for time and for all eternity in the Manti, Utah Temple. We are so excited for them....our baby girl is going to be married soon! WOW!
