About Us

Billings, Montana, United States
The Professor and I were civilly married 24 May 1998 and sealed for time and all eternity 11 Sept 1999 in the Mt. Timpanogas Temple, American Fork, UT. We have, between us 6 biological children and 3 we claim as ours through the heart strings! We call Billings, Montana home and love it here. We camp, hunt, fish, ride horses and LOVE bull riding and rodeos. Our church is a huge part of our lives and our callings keep us very busy. We love our Saviour, Jesus Christ and strive to show that love to our fellow man every day. We got our nicknames because I am the "spark" that keeps things lively around here, and he was smart enough to marry me! That's the short story on it anyway!

WEDDING SHOPPING

So yesterday we went shopping for Megan's wedding dress, and low and behold, she found "the one" at the very first store we went to, and after only trying on about 10 dresses. It was pretty funny cuz Megan had on a dress, and the girl next to her had on a different dress, and Megan looked at that dress and said "oh, I like that one" and the other girl liked the dress Megan had on, so they traded and Megan liked that one so much, it was the one! The other girl got the dress Megan had had on too. Pretty funny stuff!

Megan won't allow me to post pictures of her dress online just yet, she doesn't want to risk Victor seeing it before the wedding, but it is beautiful. Very simple, square neckline, satin, fitted, with a long train. The only bead work there is is on the train. It came with a jacket, but Megan didn't like the jacket, so she didn't get it. She did, however, get a tiara and a veil. The veil goes underneath her updo that she's planning on having.

What fun and joy it is to help my daughter plan for the biggest day of her life to this point. And to know she is going to be sealed for all eternity, not just married "til death do you part" or "for as long as you both shall live" is so awesome!

I am putting some pictures up here, but NOT of "the" dress, so enjoy, and we'll keep you posted.

And if you'd like an announcement, please make sure we have your address so we can get it out to you!

Love the choices of dresses. I'll be excited to see the final choice. I really like the red ribbon on the one. I see the gals now wearing bright colored heels under their white dresses. Love it! Now why didn't I think of that 46 years ago?
